The Crusaders Secret Gameplan

3 Comments:

  • Now Jerry isn't in the picture at all so perhaps the Crusader could sit down and wait for him to move his wizzer frame into view, he could invent a "Notional Jerry Collins" and simply swerve around that to score or more likley just say "Jerry who?" and score without waiting for Grandpop Collins to shuffle into view.

  • Nobody saw jerry coming because of the bloody fog but it was probably as well because Jerry wasn't going anywhere anyway!
The final was proof again that the Crusaders are the top "professionals" in the competition bering able to adopt suitable tactics for the conditions.

  • It was a close game, and perhaps the difference between the teams was that one wore a bright yellow, so could be easily seen in the fog; the other wore a dull red, so were harder to pick out, therefore making defense harder. ;-)

Never mind, were content in Wellington that we've made as many Super 14 Finals as the Crusaders, and more Super 14 Finals than the Blues.
