Rodney Hide - Dancer, Celebrity and MIA?
When it was announced that Rodney was going to be on "Dancing with the Stars" he said:
"I have been managing Parliament [while dancing]. The truth is that even at half steam I do four times more than the average Labour MP."
Last week, how many times did Rodney:
Ask an Oral Question in Parliament?
Ask a Written Question in Parliament?
Make a speech on any bill, motion, report or any other matter in Parliament?
Rodney Hide was elected to promote less tax and less Government - not less Parliament.

Even worse, the ACT Party surrendered their only question in the house to the Maori Party because neither of their two MPs were present. Now, they have all the right in the world to do with their questions and supplementariesas they please, but given that ACT were whinging that National should give them some of their supps a few months back, it's a tad ironic.

Yes I agreee - while one Act MP can be out of the House at anyone time for other reasons than parliamentry business having both MIA is stupid.

Giving the Maori party our question isn't such a bad thing. Especially as the Nats too are trying to woo the very same party.
Rodney still is getting out there with the Epsom voters and working the media on top of the DWTS shenanigans. Still more accomplished than an ex Epsom MP don't you think Aaron?

You didn't address the point Clint. This is the same ACT party that was whinging that National should give some of its hard earned questions and supps to it. For ACT to then give away its precious question means that National can hardly take ACT seriously when it wants to use some of its supps in the future.
