Damaged Rental Car Bills.

Fair Go covered this last week - people renting cars and then getting charged obscene amounts for damage they don't think they caused, or for minor damage only.

I've only had one experience of renting a car and having it damaged - and it was overseas, in the UK. Someone kicked off a wing mirror while the car was parked in Manchester, but the rental company couldn't have been nicer about it. Despite having to replace the mirror, and taking the car off the road a few days while getting repaired I was only charged the cost of the mirror.

I would recommend the rental car company - 1Car1.com - to you, but it appears to have gone bust a few weeks ago.
