Super 14 Picks

At the end of Round 12, teams are stacking up in the top 9 positions with a chance of making the semifinals. Here is how I see the season ending:
  • Hurricanes, 39 Points, to play Chiefs and Reds. Should win both games, end with 48 points.
  • Chiefs, 37 points, to play Hurricanes and Brumbies. Will lose to Hurricanes and beat Brumbies, end with 43 points.
  • Bulls, 37 points, to play Cheetahs and Sharks. Will beat the Cheetahs, then lose to the Sharks, end with 43 points.
  • Sharks, 35 points, to play Waratahs and Bulls. Will win both games, 44 points.
  • Waratahs, 32 Points, to play Sharks and Lions. Will lose to Sharks, and then to the Lions, end with 33 points.
  • Crusaders, 32 points, to play Reds and Blues, win both, 42 points.
  • Brumbies, 32 points, to play Blues and Chiefs, will beat the Blues, lose to the Chiefs, 37 points.
  • Blues, 31 points, Brumbies and Crusaders, lose both, 33 points.
  • Force, 30 points, Stormers and Highlanders, win both 39 points.
So my pick is the top four will stay the same, but the Sharks will rise to second and have a home semi against the Chiefs, and the Bulls will be off to Wellington for their semi.

And of course, the Sharks will lose the final at the Caketin!
